As a service provider, we are responsible for our own contents on these pages according to § 7 para.1 TMG (German Telemedia Act) and general laws. According to §§ 8 to 10 TMG we are not obliged to monitor transmitted or stored information from third parties or to investigate circumstances that indicate illegal activity.
Obligations to remove or block the use of information according to general laws remain unaffected by this. However, liability in this respect is only possible from the time of knowledge of a concrete infringement. If we become aware of any such legal infringements, we will remove the content in question immediately.
Liability for links
Our offer contains links to external websites of third parties, on whose contents we have no influence. Therefore we cannot assume any liability for these external contents. The respective provider or operator of the sites is always responsible for the contents of the linked sites. The linked pages were checked for possible legal violations at the time of linking. Illegal contents were not identified at the time of linking.
However, a permanent control of the contents of the linked pages is not reasonable without concrete evidence of a violation of the law. If we become aware of any infringements, we will remove such links immediately.
Copyright
The contents and works on these pages created by the site operators are subject to German copyright law. The reproduction, editing, distribution and any kind of use outside the limits of copyright law require the written consent of the respective author or creator. Information about Privacy and Data Protection
1. Principle and rights as a data subject
In2code GmbH - hereinafter referred to as in2code - is pleased that you are interested in our company and our services. Of course, we also want you to feel that you are in good hands with us when it comes to data protection.
In the following sections we will inform you in detail about which data is collected when you use this website and what happens to it.
Basically:
On the one hand, your data is collected when you communicate it to us. This can be, for e.g. data that you enter into a contact form.
On the other hand, certain data can be automatically recorded by our IT systems when you visit the website.
Certain data are only collected with your consent, which you were asked for when you first visited the website. You can adjust your data protection settings in this regard at any time under the following link:
Edit personal data protection setting
In addition, you have the rights listed in detail at the end of this data protection declaration with regard to information, objection and correction.
2. Use of cookies
Cookies are used on our website to manage your consent or refusal to use certain elements on the website. This use is essential and does not itself require approval.
Insofar as you use external elements, such as for example, if you have consented to embedded videos, the external provider may store additional cookies on your device.
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser. Depending on the purpose of the cookie, these are stored either only for the duration of your browser session or permanently for a defined period of time. The storage enables us, for example, to take your data protection settings into account the next time you visit the website.
You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when you close the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be restricted. The deletion of cookies may make it necessary to repeatedly set options on the website.
3. Data transfer
The website is operated on servers which we rent from specialized hosting providers. Here it can happen that a service provider becomes aware of personal data. We select our service providers carefully - especially with regard to data protection and data security - and take all measures required by data protection law for permissible data processing. Our hosting providers are based in Germany and the data centers used are in Germany.
If you have consented to the integration of external content, data may be transmitted to the external provider by the browser. Details on this in the section "Plugins and Tools"
In addition, we do not pass on any data to third parties, unless you have consented to the disclosure in individual cases.
4. Server log files
When operating the web server, log files are generated. These are recorded by the providers named in the previous section for purposes prescribed or required by law and deleted after a reasonable period of time. It concerns the following information:
- Browser type and browser version
- operating system used
- Referrer URL
- Host name of the accessing computer
- Time of the server request
- IP address
At the same time, an anyomized copy of the log files is made available to in2code. Anonymization takes places by shortening the IP address by the last octet and does not allow individual visitors to be identified.
As far as the non-anonymized data is concerned, the storage takes place on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. c GDPR (legal obligation) or lit. f (legitimate interest to ensure trouble-free operation).
5. Collection of statistical data on website usage
In order to optimize our website and adapt it to the needs of our customers, we collect anonymised data and use it to create statistics relating to the duration, frequency and order of consecutive page visits. These statistics also allow us to recognize and analyze the frequency of the operating systems, browsers and screen resolutions used by visitors.
We use the data protection-friendly analysis tool "Matomo", which is hosted on our own servers. "Matomo" is set up in a way that does not use cookies to identify visitors.
The IP addresses of the visitors are anonymized before they are saved, i.e. the IP address is shortened by the last octet and is therefore incompletely saved.
In rare cases, the combination of the recorded information can be sufficient to identify a person concerned. In this case, the purpose of website optimization on the basis of Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR applies as a legitimate interest.
6. Collection of data for marketing purposes
This website uses the marketing automation tool "lux".
There is no storage of information in your end device (neither as a cookie nor in the so-called "local storage"), with the exception of the storage of your selection with regard to data protection. The latter is necessary for operation.
After the first visit to the website, Lux tries to recognize your repeated visits through your behavior and the hardware you are using, in order to be able to offer you the appropriate content according to your preferences and to simplify the usability of the website. For this purpose, “lux” forms a so-called hash value from some of the properties of your device transmitted by the browser (including the browser type, the language setting, the color depth, some parameters of the hardware used), which can be used for recognition when you visit the website in the future.
The above-mentioned purposes of storing this hash value represent a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit.f GDPR.
Since “lux” stores this information on systems operated by us, no information is passed on to third parties, but only processed by in2code.
You can prevent recognition and the display of individual content, for example by activating the "DoNotTrack" header of your browser or by contradicting it directly here. However, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent.
7. Contact and download forms
If you enter data in one of our forms, your details from the form, including the contact details you provided there, your message and any marketing information that may have already been recorded will be stored by us for the purpose of processing and tracking the request and in the event of follow-up questions.

By submitting the form, you consent to the processing of the data mentioned in accordance with Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR.
8. Job application form
If you enter data in the job application form, the data will be processed according to the purpose of the application.
In the event of rejection, the data you enter in the application form will remain with us until the application process has been completed and any mutual claims can be safely excluded (limitation period).
The processing of the data mentioned takes place in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR.
