The DRÄXLMAIER Group
Founded in Germany in 1958, the company now employs more than 55,000 people worldwide. For the DRÄXLMAIER Group as an owner-managed company, responsible and long-term thinking has always been the basis for economic success. A fixed component of the strategy is therefore to make the business and production processes as well as the products more sustainable and thus increase the competitiveness of the company in the long term.
Customers of the top 100 automotive supplier include Audi, BMW, Bugatti, Jaguar, Lamborghini, Land Rover, Maserati, Mercedes-Benz, MINI, Porsche, Tesla and Volkswagen.
Initial situation
The special challenge of the relaunch was to emphasize the product range and the company's competencies in the sense of optimal B2B communication. The focus was also on the career area. This was further expanded and positioned as a central element. The job offers are maintained centrally and are connected to SAP via an interface.
The microsites for the foreign locations use the same templates as the new corporate website.
A user-oriented approach was adopted in the redesign of the website in order to optimally address the various target groups. More detailed content such as information for suppliers is only made available to certain users. For these access-authorized user groups (so-called "closed user groups") a front-end login including an interface to LDAP was created.
The challenges
The new online presence of DRÄXLMAIER was implemented "Responsive". Users receive an attractive user interface on different screen sizes - from Smartphone, Tablet, Notebook and Desktop. With a modern redesign and the innovative UI operating concept for example the product and career area of DRÄXLMAIER is highlighted in individual tiles. The design guidelines were skilfully implemented on the web. The holistic approach creates maximum user-friendliness on the most diverse end devices.
In addition to the support of the application level, the creation and configuration of a complex server structure with focus on maximum failure safety is also part of our tasks. The servers are still maintained by in2code.de.
Infrastructure and server
The creation and configuration of a complex server structure with a focus on maximum reliability is also one of the tasks of in2code GmbH. In addition, about 30 different web servers are supported and monitored by in2code.
Our services
SAP job market in TYPO3
Current job applications are maintained in the company's own SAP. They are displayed on the website via an interface. Interested parties can thus look around at their career opportunities at their leisure and apply directly.
Content Publisher
By the way: The use of our TYPO3 Content Publisher enables the distribution of the content management system on two different servers. Here the editorial system in the intranet serves as a basis for the revision of content by a large number of editors. The productive system without editorial access - but accessible from outside for normal website visitors - is located in the DMZ. This additional barrier not only enables a clean content workflow, but also further hardens the publicly accessible production system against possible attacks.
